Santiago day trips: choose each day by the experience

Santiago works so well as a base because one itinerary can alternate city, Andes, snow, wine and the Pacific. The key is not to buy overlapping tours: each day should add a different landscape and rhythm.

How to avoid buying the same experience twice

If you are sleeping at Valle Nevado, you probably do not need another generic snow tour. If you book a full-day Casablanca + coast itinerary, you may not need a second wine day. Use Santiago as a hub and build complementary days.
